30 Year Reunion
The plans for the Milby 30th Reunion are now complete. We are excited about getting together again and have planned several fun events. We hope that you will join us:

Happy Hour:
Happy Hour will be held the Friday night before the reunion (Friday 07/30)
at Noah’s Ark in Bacliff. This
is a very casual bar with indoor & outdoor seating right on the bay. You
should dress for the heat. Everyone is invited to happy hour (spouses &
friends – but no children). This
will be a cash bar, good food is available and there will be a band. Credit
cards are accepted. For those staying at South Shore Friday night, we will
have a car pool (and hopefully designated drivers).
Pool Party:
For guests staying at South Shore Harbor, we plan to meet at the pool area
@ 2 PM on Saturday to enjoy the sunshine and the view of the marina.
Family Picnic:
A family picnic will be held on Saturday August 14th at
10AM until dark at Mike King’s house on Lake Livingston.
If you were there for the 20th Reunion picnic you know that
it is a great place to have a party. Boats
& Wave Runners are welcome.
This is a BYO-Everything picnic. Bring
food, drinks, lawn chairs, bug repellent, sun screen, and anything else you
would take for a picnic in the park. This
is a great chance to visit and share your pictures after the reunion.
Memory
Book:
There will be a photographer at the reunion.
She will take photos as you arrive at a cost of $6.00 for a 4x6 (other
sizes are available) as well as offer a Memory Book with group photos and
candid shots for $25.00 (to be mailed @ 3 weeks after the reunion).
You will need cash for this (no
credit cards accepted).
Missing Classmates:
The list of people we were unable to locate is still quite long and some
new names have been added due to returned mail.
Please read this list carefully and let us know if you have contact
information.
If you have not already done so, we need you to complete the Registration Form and pay for the reunion. We must have an accurate count to insure that everyone has a good time, we have adequate food, your name badge with yearbook photo is prepared and the class directory is up to date. It takes a lot of preparation to have this much fun!!
Additional Information for Hotel Guests:
Transportation:
Transportation is available from Hobby at $20.00 - $45.00 each way (depending
on time of day).
People arriving at Bush/Intercontinental airport can also arrange
transportation through the charter company for a fee. To make your
arrangements, please call Clear Lake Shuttle directly at 281-334-3873.
Golf:
Registered hotel guests have the privilege of playing golf at South
Shore Harbour Country Club. Please
contact the Golf Shop (281)
334-0525/(281) 538-2124-fax for additional information & reservations
as soon as possible to insure a Tee-time.
Sunday Brunch:
The hotel has a wonderful Sunday Brunch with omelet & waffle stations
as well as breakfast buffet items for $9.95.
Please make your reservation with the hotel at check-in.
There is still plenty to do and we would
appreciate your suggestions and help.
